Healing that starts with you.

Acupuncture
Acupuncture is an Eastern Asian modality using small, filiform needles roughly the size of two strands of hair. Needles are methodically inserted into different parts of the body to stimulate acupuncture points and meridians. There are more than 350 acupuncture points and fourteen meridian systems that run through the body. Each acupuncture point and meridian is selectively chosen to treat specific symptoms and bring certain systems back into balance. Acupuncture stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system, which allows the body to enter a state of rest and digest, lowers cortisol levels, and inhibits inflammatory cytokines. Acupuncture is an ancient, East Asian medicine that has been reminding the body of its ability to heal itself for over 3,000 years.
Cupping
Cupping is a traditional modality in Chinese Medicine that brings unwanted pathogens to the surface. This modality moves stagnated qi and blood, which helps treat pain and sore, tight muscles. We also use Gua Sea for similar therapeutic benefits.

Chinese Herbal Medicine
Chinese herbal medicine is a powerful complement to acupuncture. Herbs work deeply on a physiological level to further enhance the effects of an acupuncture treatment. Internal medicine cases involving gynecology, digestion, respiratory distress, and much more greatly benefit from incorporating herbs.
Functional Medicine
Functional medicine is a form of lab interpretation that prioritizes optimizing numbers. The focus is to use refined, targeted testing to uncover root cause biological imbalances. Pillars of functional medicine include stress reduction, looking at diet and exercise, and detailed health histories. This comprehensive take on health and wellness helps uncover mysteries to a lot of complex, chronic health issues.
